Shift & Pay Tracker

Log a date and your hours. It groups by your 26th-25th pay period and estimates gross to net. Data stays on this device.

Deduction assumptions (advanced)
These were reverse-engineered from your May payslip and reproduce your net pay to within a few pence. They reflect standard 2025/26 UK figures (tax code 1257L, 8% NI Cat A, 4% People's Pension relief-at-source). Adjust only if your payslip changes - e.g. a new tax code, pay rise, or student loan. Income tax here uses a simple monthly method, so it can drift from your real (cumulative) PAYE in months where your hours swing a lot.

Add a shift

Sleep-in adds one unit at your sleep-in rate on top of worked hours.
Gross pay is exact - it's just hours × rate + sleep-ins, so it's the figure to check against your payslip. Net is an estimate. Tax, NI and pension use formulas that match your last payslip, but real PAYE is cumulative across the tax year and your employer may round differently. Treat a mismatch as a prompt to ask payroll, not proof of an error. Export a CSV each month as your own backup - browser data can be cleared.
